The Lord's Supper

We believe and practice the Reformed emphasis, which is on what God does, not what the recipient does. The sacraments are thus a means of grace. Therefore we hold to following Jesus’ example in declaring the words of scripture regarding the serving of the elements of bread and wine (grape juice), in remembrance of His broken body and poured out blood on the cross for our redemption and salvation. All who have made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and who have been baptized, are welcome to the table, and none shall be excluded because of race, sex, age, economic status, social class, handicapped condition; all taking full responsibility for their sins by confession and repentant acts, prior to participating in partaking of the communion elements.
