We believe and practice the Reformed emphasis regarding baptism; hence, while both the Word and sacraments are instituted by God as a means of grace pointing to and confirming the salvation found in Christ alone which is received by faith alone; the Word is foundational, and baptism is a sign, symbol, and seal of salvation, sanctification, and service for the people of God. We do not believe baptism alone results in regeneration. The water of baptism is an outward sign of an inward grace, wrought by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God. We practice administering the sacrament of baptism upon infants of Covenant Partners (members) of the church named herein, meaning Covenant Partner parents or grandparents, or others Covenant Partner’s assigned custody of children, are eligible to make inquiry regarding infant baptism. Adults never having been baptized may by profession of faith in Jesus Christ make inquiry as well.
